Bamboo is a variety of grass, which varies in height from twelve inch plants to huge timber bamboo species that can grow to thirty or forty metres and more. Growing in a diverse range of different climates in jungles and high on mountainsides but also now widely cultivated in more temperate climates for its undeniable natural beauty.
